PBG in an insurance company based out of Portland, OR. They were looking to brighten their design moving away From the established theme of Black and Gold. I worked directly with their Head of IT Dr. Rev. Erick C. Elmshauser a good friend and collegue. This established link made the project and even better experience. Although everyone loved the new design there was resistance in upper management moving from the established brand image.

Rounding out 2002 I chose to do some work for non-profit organizations and this being one of them. The site was for a Tibetan Monastery based in Columbia Heights, MN. If was very interesting learning about them and working with them to put together an informative website to represent their monastery and beliefs. This project reminded me that the web is as I believe a place of useful communication and diversity.

This project was very smooth; the clients had a good concept of what they wanted to see for the outcome of their site. Supplied with good insight, I took their conception and without any troubles was able to completely satisfy all expectations of this project. This was a project I really enjoyed it was exactly what I consider to have been a great collaboration, having implemented a flash intro page was one of the parts of the project I enjoyed most.

Summary: Original site development and implementation of the client's requested site diagram and stylization. Structural navigation and facing throughout the site using Dreamweaver 3.0, and Java scripting for primary development. Fully designed and developed the splash page using Flash 4.0 to continue the follow up of the original site plan as it being a second stage update

This project was different in many ways from any other project that I have worked on in the past. There was a very wide open field of play here. One of the reasons they decided to have contract work done on this instead of simply submitting it to a design firm, as near as I can tell, is to have a great deal of control in the creative process. I think that the submitted work did achieve the major prospectus entailed by their needs. But they were indecisive about what their new image should be.

I was responsible for Redesign and Reformat of an already existing architecture know as WWW.fimi.com Although their timeline was and is fairly unclear, their goal for a reformat has been slated and my work in hand is Redesigned and Developed content using Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.0,Flash 5.0, Html 4.0, and implemented Java scripting under Dreamweaver for site functionality.

This site determined whether or not I would have stage fright posting a live professional site, heh (bad pun please ignore it). Well given the "go for it kid" from the development team I took on management and development for this site. I also had a great experience with this project. It was incredible to work with such a creative group. This was a great client. Good project. Good people.

Summary: I modified and implemented the site concept, content, and navigation through the guidance of the clients concepts to satisfy their expected content level and beyond. This project was the *first* professional live site of mine. My primary development tool was Dreamweaver 2.0. I Implemented JavaScript for a theme navigation rollover. For Graphical content editing I used Adobe Photoshop 5.02 and Adobe Image Ready 1.0

Was responsible for all graphical design aspects using Adobe Photoshop 5.02 and Adobe Illustrator 8.0 for image creation and Adobe Image Ready for compression. These clients decided to take the proverbial step to the net, to widen their audience with another way to market their product. This was accomplished with great success. The approach I took with this site was a slice between a theme and a documentary to at least entertain.

Summary: I was Responsible for design and development of site structure. Worked with the clients to analyze their expectations and how to best implement their requests. I had a very first hand touch with this project in regards to the clients. I managed all aspects of this account as well as 95% of the development. Dreamweaver 2.0 was used for primary development of HTML coding and JavaScript for graphical swaps.
